Kendriya Vidyalaya Sarni established in the year of 1976.Kendriya Vidyalaya Sarni is a school running under Project of WCL and MPPGCL. The school is a two section Vidyalaya from class I to XII, for classes XI and XII the school provides the streams of Science (Bio / Maths / Computer Science).

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sarni is a part of Betul district, the Vidyalaya is at the centre of the city Sarni exactly near the Jai Stambh Circle, the Vidyalaya is spread in the beautiful calm and green vally of Satpura.In the direction of East lies the nearest railway station is Ghoradongri which is 18 KM away from Sarni. The railway station Ghoradongri lies 90 KM from the Itarsi railway station in the north and 220 KM away from Nagpur railway station in the south so Ghoradongri railway station lies in the middle of the Grand Trunk Route (GT Route), from the Ghoradongri railway station to reach Sarni buses and Taxi provides the connecting ride.
